The X-37B Orbital test vehicle produced by Boeing is a unmanned spaceplane. The reuseable spacecraft started life in 1999 as a Nasa project. It was then taken over by the Department of Defense in 2004. The Spacecraft is now used to demonstrate reuseable space technologies.
The first orbital flight took place on 22 April 2010. Launched using a Atlas V rocket.
